Yes good contractors are still in demand but I don't think the NZ market has wrapped it's head around the utilisation of a remote workforce. It seems as though start-ups are more inclined to use this global workforce on offer, but the larger Tier 1 & 2 companies seem set on hiring local contracting talent. 

In a world where we have access to the best talent on the global market, why is it that we are reluctant to access this talent. We have seen a large number of successful organiations utilise the remote freelancer. What is holding back the NZ mindset in utilising these resource in such a competitive talent market.
