This may sound obvious to many, but you'd be surprised how many people turn up to interviews not having done their homework!
When it comes to applying for a job these days, you are doing well if you actually land an interview, especially with, often, 100 people applying for every job advertised.
From those 100, only about 10 will be shortlisted and phone-screened, and possibly 3 actually interviewed. If you are in that top 3, then you are doing well, but the reality is that you're in a race and only one of you is going to win!
