The last time I wrote a post like this, I explored what a candidate (possibly even you) would be looking for in a new position. The main thing that came to fruition was that both candidates and employers need to really identify what is important to them in their new working environment. 

But once you have decided on what your ideal position is, how do you secure this dream job? 

The most important thing to remember is that it can take time to find your next position. You have to remain motivated in your job search and not lose hope even when it seems as though you're not getting anywhere. 

Of course all the usual things are important as well such as updating your LinkedIn profile and CV, reaching out to your network, and researching the market. But what do you do when you have done all of that and still nothing has changed?
