Recruit I.T. have had a cracking past few weeks, with accepted offers sent out to seven of our candidates who have been through an entirely digital interview process! This has really shown the resilience of New Zealand businesses and I'm so stoked to help people get on their feet again and enabling projects to go ahead.
Let's be honest, we're all sick of the dreaded 'C-word' (anyone else avoiding the 6pm news at the moment?), and while many companies are still stuck in limbo, there is plenty of good work happening and recruitment is still guns blazing!
We are seeing more and more 'good news' stories from our clients, including some positive changes to their organisational culture. With teams working remotely for the past 6+ weeks, many have discovered that the productivity and flexibility of working from home (WFH) as a big draw card and is something worth hanging on to. We have seen some of our clients announce more remote positions and greater flexibility in their culture going ahead, with plans for their teams to implement partial WFH permanently! This is great news for all of those who are loving the extra hours with family and don't miss the lengthy Auckland commute.
Organisations have also really upped their game on digital onboarding which has proven to be a game changer in speeding up HR processes, which could look to be the new norm.
It's no doubt that the current push for digital transformation will have a knock on effect for years to come!
